Valerie Lennox is a lawyer in Prelia's Calgary office. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2026, she assists clients in matters relating to corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets and securities. She approaches each mandate with a thoughtful and practical mindset, grounded in strong academic training and a genuine interest in understanding challenging legal and business issues. Valerie obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Calgary in 2025. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from the same institution. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to approach legal matters with both analytical rigour and a strong appreciation for the human factors that often influence legal outcomes. While completing her legal training, Valerie contributed to legal scholarship as co-author of the forthcoming article “Online Abuse of Elected Officials: Tackling the Slow Violence that Undermines Democracy”, scheduled for publication in the Canadian Journal of Law and Technology in 2026.
