Philippe Pilon

As Of Counsel in our Ottawa office, Philippe joined Prelia in 2026 after having been a member of the firm Ranger & Assoc., where he practiced under the direction of Me Pierre Ranger until the latter’s retirement in 2026. Originally from Casselman, Ontario, Philippe is fully bilingual and practices in both official languages.

He holds a Juris Doctor degree in common law as well as a civil law degree from the University of Ottawa. He practiced in the National Capital Region, primarily in real estate law, estate law, and family law. Philippe regularly acts for buyers and sellers in refinancing and land‑severance matters, as well as for estates, advising and assisting executors in the performance of their duties.

Philippe now continues Me Pierre Ranger’s practice within Prelia. He also gives estate‑planning seminars to public service employees through the Retirement Planning Institute.

When he is not assisting his clients, Philippe is actively involved in his community and serves on the board of directors of an organization offering community services. In his free time, he trains for long‑distance triathlons and participates in Ironman events.
