Co-founder of the office and leader of the Canadian Tax Group, Martin Bussières has built his career with a constant commitment to making tax matters accessible, convinced that even the most complex issues must remain understandable for his clients.
He has been practicing at the heart of tax and business law since 1994. Over the years, he has developed recognized expertise in corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, succession planning, real estate taxation, natural resources taxation, professional taxation, employee incentive structures, and estate planning. He advises both SMEs and large corporations and represents his clients before tax authorities when necessary.
Martin regularly supports companies in the midst of strategic decision-making across a range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, distribution, information technology, and emerging technologies.
