We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Calgary office. In this role, you will provide administrative and transactional support to two partners based in Calgary and two lawyers based in Vancouver, while contributing to the efficient operation of a collaborative, multi-office team environment. The successful candidate will support lawyers practicing in the areas of corporate and commercial law, including business acquisitions and sales, corporate reorganizations, financings, commercial real estate, and other business matters.
Work location: 333 7 Ave SW #800, Calgary (Alberta) T2P 2Z1
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Calgary office.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, letters, agreements, and other business documents.
Respond to client inquiries and assist with billing follow-up.
Coordinate business purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations, equity and debt financing transactions, and other corporate and commercial matters from initiation through closing.
